I am currently working doing IT support and development in several different areas for local government. In my spare time I enjoy music, reading, foreign cinema and stand-up comedy. I also enjoy studying politics, international relations, and the media. I have a heavy interest in IT which seems to dominate, this includes building and maintaining PC’s, programming, writing guides/articles and running web servers. I switched over to GNU/Linux and Free Software a few years back and now advocate this as an ethical alternative to proprietary systems and attend related events, I have also given presentations on interesting Linux Software to my Local LUG.
